10 Tips to a better trade show
- Open booth
- don’t
block in your booth (no tables or displays between you and the show visitors).
- No fish bowl
- attendance records
are available from the show management staff
- Create a question form
-
instead of just collecting cards - that
will qualify booth
visitors. They can fill it out before receiving the giveaway.
- Make booth personnel easy to identify
Obvious
methods are booth-wear, blinking pins, buttons and other methods. There is
nothing more frustrating then not getting help at a show.
- Create a crowd. People attract people
"There
must be something good there: everyone’s lined up; look at the crowd."
- Be interactive with an appropriate giveaway.
Your
show cost's roi can be greatly increased or decreased by this, just one factor
is the give-away's staying power. Often this will be the lowest cost
method to keep your name or message in front of your target audience for years.
- Communicate one clear message -
with
booth decoration.
What do you have that will benefit the show
attendee?
- Use follow up forms
- Strategize before start of trade show and after the show
-
Pre
show
plan
before
and after show –
open channels of feedback and tweak & quantify results
- Make your booth sexy - get noticed, don't be boring.
Make it fun...
add the sizzle!
